VOLUNTARY FREE ASTROLOGY – Week starting October 1, 2021
Copyright by Rob Brezsny,

BALANCE (September 23-October 22):
Being “naked,” art critic Kenneth Clark said, has “no uncomfortable connotations” but indicates “a balanced, prosperous and confident body.” I draw your attention to this point because I think you would benefit from experiencing some extra nudity and no nudity in the days to come. If you choose to accept this assignment, please use it to enhance your respect and reverence for your beauty. PS: This is also a good time to express your fundamental truths without inhibition or excuse. I urge you to be your pure self in all your glory.

SCORPIO (23 Oct-21 Nov):
Scorpio poet Anne Sexton wrote: “You have to take your own animal out of its own cage and not look for a keeper or an unlocker. This is still expert advice, but it will be very important that you heed it in the weeks to come. The magnificent semi-wild creature within you needs more room to run, more sites to see, more adventure to seek out. For this to happen, he needs to spend more time outside of his cage. And you are the best person to make sure that happens.

SAGITTARIUS (November 22-December 21):
Sagittarius composer Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827) could be a wonderful friend. If someone he loved was depressed or feeling lost, he would invite them to sit in his presence while he improvised music on the piano. There were no words, no advice, only touching melodies. “He told me everything,” a friend said of his gift. “And finally gave me some consolation.” I invite you to take inspiration from his example, Sagittarius. You are at the peak of your powers to bring solace, solace and healing to allies in need of so much healing. Doing it in any way is also a blessing for you.

CAPRICORN (December 22-January 19):
At 23, Jeanne Antoinette Poisson (1721-1764), born in Capricorn, became the favorite mistress of King Louis XV of France. She was not born into the aristocracy, but she exercised her Capricorn flair with supreme efficiency. Ultimately, she achieved a noble title as well as high prestige and status at the court of France. As is the case with evolved Capricorns, his high role was well deserved, and not the result of vulgar social ascension. She was a patron of architecture, porcelain and the greatest French intellectuals. She pardoned herself from the king’s wife, the queen, and served as an honored assistant. I suggest we make her your role model for the next four weeks. May it inspire you to seek an increase in your importance and influence, accomplished with integrity.

AQUARIUS (January 20-February 18):
The bad news is that artist Debbie Wagner was diagnosed with two brain tumors in 2002. The good news is that the surgery not only helped her survive, but also improved her visual acuity. The good news is that almost every day since 2005 she has painted a new image of the sunrise. I invite you to imagine a ritual to celebrate your own victory over adversity, Aquarius. Is there a generous gesture or creative act that you could do on a semi-regular basis to thank life for giving you the help and power you needed?

PISCES (February 19-March 20):
A self-proclaimed “witch” named Lars wrote: “I am a ghost of the 1750s, and my life is currently in the hands of a group of 13-year-old suburban youth who use a ouija board to ask me if Josh from. homeroom has a crush on them. He hints that a powerful supernatural figure like himself is called upon to perform unworthy tasks. He wishes his divinatory skills would be better utilized. any similarities between you and him, Pisces? Do you ever feel like you are breaking your promise? That your donations are not being fully used? If so, I am happy to predict that you might resolve this issue in the future. in the weeks and months to come, you will have more energy and common sense to activate your full potential.

ARIES (March 21-April 19):
Blogger AnaSophia was asked, “What do you find attractive about a person? I’m going to reproduce his answer because it’s a good time to think about what your answer would be. I don’t mean you should be looking for a new lover. I’m interested in inspiring you to ruminate on the alliances you should cultivate over the next few months. This is what AnaSophia finds appealing: “strong desire but no need, passionate sensitivity, ease, authenticity, innocence of perception, sense of humor, vulnerability and honesty, embodying its subtleties and embracing its paradoxes, acting unconditionally and with the heart.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20):
Taurus author Roberto Bolaño confessed: “Sometimes I want greatness, sometimes just its shadow.” I appreciate his honesty. I think what he says is true for most of us. Is there anyone who is always ready to take on the heavy responsibility of pursuing greatness? Doubtful. To be great, we must periodically go through phases where we recharge our energy and take a break from being nobly ambitious. And you, dear Taurus? If I read the Omens correctly, you will benefit from a phase of reinvention and revitalization. Over the next three weeks, it will be wise to hang out in the shadow of greatness.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20):
“Have fun, even if it’s not the same kind of fun as everyone,” wrote religious writer CS Lewis. This advice is ten times more important right now than it usually is. In the interest of the health of your body and soul, you must indulge in the follies of playful fun and joyous fun and cheerfulness that relieves tension. And all of these good things will work their most powerful magic if they stimulate pleasures that are unique to you and not necessarily in accordance with the tastes of others.

CANCER (June 21-July 22):
“It’s one thing to know more about the past,” wrote cancer journalist Kenneth Auchincloss. “It’s another to wallow in it.” This is great advice to take in in the weeks to come. After studying your astrological omens, I am excited that you are exploring the old days and the old ways. I hope you find new clues that you have overlooked before and that this additional information will make you rethink the story of your life. But as you conduct your explorations, it’s also crucial to avoid getting bogged down in muddy emotions like regret or resentment. Be inspired by your story, not demoralized by it.

LEO (July 23-August 22):
Do you want to deepen and strengthen your ability to concentrate? Cosmic Rhythms will conspire in your favor if you work on this valuable skill in the weeks to come. You will be able to make more progress than you would normally be able to. Here is some relevant advice from author Harriet Griffey: “Whenever you feel like quitting, do five more – five more minutes, five more exercises, five more pages – which will stretch your focus. Here’s another tip: Any time you feel that your concentration is weakening, remember what you like about the task you are doing. Ruminate on its benefits for you and others.

VIRGIN (23 August-22 September):
What’s your favorite feeling? Here is the answer of the Virgin poetess Mary Szybist to this question: hunger. She is not talking about the desire for food, but rather the desire for all that is precious, interesting and meaningful. She loves the atmosphere of “not yet”, the experience of going towards the desired thing. What would be your answer to the question, Virgo? I guess you can sometimes share Szybist’s point of view. But given current astrological omens, your favorite feeling right now may be complete satisfaction – the gratifying feeling of getting what you’re hungry for. I say, trust that intuition.
