Rabobank challenges quick appeal in chicken price-fixing case

By Matthew Perlman (March 11, 2022, 9:05 PM EST) — Rabobank has urged an Illinois federal court not to clear several chicken buyers suing allegations of an industry-wide price-fixing scheme industry to appeal the dismissal of the claims against the bank as the rest of the case moves forward.

Rabobank, a Dutch multinational agricultural bank, on Thursday filed a response to a motion by several large chicken buyers, including Sysco Corp., US Foods Inc. and Target Corp., asking the court to enter final judgment on the claims against the bank after a February order dismissed the allegations for a second time.
