During a policy review meeting in Congress on August 18, 2022, the main policy measure highlighted by the national president of the Chamber of Real Estate and Builders Associations (Creba), Noel “Toti” Cariño, was the amendment to Republic Act 7835 or the Comprehensive and Integrated Housing Finance Act of 1994 to help make home loans sustainable and more affordable for social and economic housing recipients, which has been a flagship program in as part of Creba’s five-point program for housing.

Also present at the meeting were Rep. Jose Francisco “Kiko” Benitez, chair of the housing and urban development committee, and Rep. Marissa “Del Mar” Magsino, the first candidate on the One Filipinos Worldwide party slate. head of the National Real Estate Association, the Subdivision and Housing Developers Association Inc., the Organization of Socialized and Economic Housing Developers of the Philippines Inc. and the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development.
