This month, Funding Circlethe UK’s largest small business lending platform, has updated its Money To Do More program with enhanced benefits for Funding Circle employees, known as Circlers.
The company has set aside £300,000 this year, with each of the Funding Circle’s 600 Circlers in the UK receiving a £500 stipend to support their development and wellbeing.
The previously established Learning and Development Allowance of £300 is designed to help individuals achieve their personal and professional development goals. The stipend can be spent on everything from relevant textbooks and subscriptions to courses or lectures. This complements the extensive training resources available through the company’s in-house training facility, the FC Academy.
The Wellness Allowance is a new addition to Funding Circle’s “Money To Do More” program in 2022 and is designed to give Circlers the freedom to choose what they need to live a healthier, more balanced life. Whether it’s new running shoes, gym classes or memberships, a good book or a cooking class, it’s up to the Circlers to decide what will make a difference to their well-being. Circlers can also transfer their Wellness Allowance to support their Learning and Development Allowance if they wish.
