Fall is officially here, which means it’s time to slip on the chunky knits (whoop!), 100 denier tights (boo!) And turn your S / S pastel eyeliner back to black.
How you wear it is up to you – Valentino went for extra long flicks
on the catwalk, while Schiaparelli preferred the miniature kitten wings and the ’90s lower lash guard was spotted at Dior.
The perfect eyeliner?
For a smudge-free hold, use Shiseido MicroLiner ink, £ 20, on the lash line, and Huda Beauty Life Liner Quick N’Easy, £ 16, for wings that won’t budge. If, like me, you are unable to draw a movie, Lottie London Stamp Liner,
£ 5.95, shaped like a wing, so you just need to press on it.

Christine Quinn X Ciate
It’s not as fun as TikTok’s vibrant color trend, but it translates to less raised eyebrows, especially now that we’re back in the office. Speaking of which, the first lockdown is now, thankfully, a distant memory.
But while everyone was addicted to Tiger King, I preferred Selling Sunset, thanks to the glamorous outfits, crisp makeup and fiery personalities. So imagine my excitement when I heard Christine Quinn from SS
came out a line of cosmetics in collaboration with the British brand Ciaté.
The collection includes her signature red lip, finishing powder and my favorite, the Bo $$ B * Tch 9-Pan eyeshadow palette, £ 35. Its warm shades are perfect day and night, thanks to the matte and glitter finishes.

Olaplex Violet Shampoo
From an icon with great hair to a big iconic hair donor: Olaplex has just launched a game-changing game. Despite the cult status of the brand, I had never tried it, my hair is healthy and has not been colored. Until last month, when I took the plunge and got a baby-blonde balayage (my hand held firmly by award-winning colorist Samantha Cusick).
Call it divine timing, but that same week, Olaplex No 4P Blonde Enhancer Toning Shampoo, £ 26, landed on my desk.
It contains patented bond building technology that repairs damage from the inside out, with a purple pigment to neutralize brassy tones. I use it every two washes and wouldn’t be surprised if it becomes the brand’s best seller.

Finally, October marks Menopause Awareness Month and today we are launching
our Fabulous Menopause Matters campaign. A study by Prai found that 77% of women think their skin has changed because of menopause, 74% think their skincare products need to adapt, and 86% want brands to break the taboo around menopause.
Prai MenoGlow, from £ 20, targets hormonal issues associated with menopause, such as dehydration, sagging and dullness.
Let’s go for more brands that get involved!
THE BEAUTY PANEL
I’ve heard a lot about tube mascaras lately, but what are they really? Shanice, Newcastle
Ruby hammer: As a contact lens wearer, I have always been a fan of tubing mascaras. Rather than loading the lashes with wax-based pigment, they wrap them in microfibers, resulting in soft definition and length without flaking or crumbling, which can irritate the eyes.
Depending on your budget and favorite wand, my favorites are Clinique Lash Power, £ 21, Glossier Lash Slick, £ 12, and Trish McEvoy
Lash Curling Mascara, £ 22.50.
For volume, it is better to use a traditional formula.
