Living in a country which rarely sees the sun, I often wonder about those countries that rarely see the rain. Despite the habitual complaints, the question is whether the grass really greener on the other side.
One of the teachings in Islam is that God Almighty is Ar-Rahman, the Most Merciful. This attribute of God means that we in this life, in this world have been provided with every resource to meet our needs. The only way for human beings to suffer is to abuse these resources be it through greed, unfair trade, pollution, other. Perhaps if we took more care of one another we would find no one wanting.
