Ramadan Kareem

Islamic month of Ramadan starts tomorrow when Muslims around the world will fast from sunrise to sunset. Personally, the 30 fasts are one of the best ways to cleanse myself spiritually and physically. In this annual stock-taking, I can gauge if I have really emerged better in heart, mind and soul? Got any closer to the spiritual destination? Easier said than Done!

Imam Bukhari narrates our prophet SAW on an occasion: ‘Many are the observers of fast who gain nothing from their fast but hunger and thirst.’ (Darimi)

I wish and pray that May Allah shower on us all blessings and peace. May He accept our prayers and our fasts, Ameen.
