Eid: take a break, contemplate

December 8th 2008 is the celebration of Eid al-Adha, the second major Muslim celebration of any year. Prophet Muhammad once said that a time will come where "a year feels like a month, a month feels like a week, a week feels like a day, a day feels like an hour, and an hour feels like the kindling of a fire." In this busy world in which we live, why not take a break to contemplate?

When Prophet Muhammad was asked, "which action is the best action?" he responded by saying "the actions that bring happiness to a believer".

Why not do something that brings someone, anyone, happiness? Happy Eid.
